Magda Watts, the reknowned Israeli dollmaker, "grew up" in Aushwitz. As a young girl during the war, she saved herself, her sister and others by making dolls from scraps in exchange for her life. After years of trying to cope with her tragic past, Magda began "recreating" the images from her past in the form of her "little friends".
